AVIVO (or similar) video transcoding on 3870X2 ?

Do the 3870X2 have the same/comparable AVIVO video conversion/transcoding that the X1xxx series cards had ?
I was a big fan on my old X1900XT, as - amongst other things - it did a great job of transcoding Microsoft DVR-MS (MCE) files......

Thinking of getting a X2 to replace my GTX, as the video conversion abilities would be superb......but want to know whether it still does this ??? :confused:
 
Excellent, thanks - couldn't seem to find a mention of the transcoding 'part' of it anyway...is it still unde Catalyst CC > Basic ?
 
So the AVIVO software decoder/transcoder thingy does definitely work on 38xx series cards ? Want to be sure.....the AMD site does tend to suggest only 1xxx series cards....or is taht because it was a separate component then, and now fully integrated ?
