Awesome work...

I agree with dmpoole, tattoos can look great but its a status symbol, I would only get one if I was apart of an army corp, something to remind you of those days not some garbage design or symbol of how you lived in that month of that year of your life.
Why do you need 'reminded' of anything? Is your memory so poor that you need constant visual reaffirmation of important events in your life?

I remember looking at my granddads and hearing the history and story behind it not about some mug going in every month because they sold 100 extra insurance polices.
I have a tattoo of a toaster. Why? Because I like toast.

Look up the real meaning of tattoos and you see why 92.5% of people fail.
Pray tell, wise scribe, what is the 'real meaning' of tattoos?

Tattoos need no meaning. There need be no other reason for a tattoo than 'I like it.'

And thats why I wont have one, you need a history, a culture to have one.

You have no history or culture?

So by your own admission you don't like your small hole and want it bigger.
Like I said, people get bored with things and you've just confirmed it.

Where in your cavernous backside did you pull that strawman from, cooker****er?

I like my ears. I love them; I love the way they look, I love the way they feel, and I love the quality, the look and the feel of the jewelery I have in them at the moment.

However, it is a VERY slow process to stretch your ears and still keep them as thick and healthy as mine are.

Does that mean I dislike them? No it doesn't.

Come on, dimple; you're smarter than this...

You've been caught out - take it on the chin.
You said 'At the moment'.
Everybody has read it.

I thought you were clever with your insults usually but you're failing big time here.

If I said 'I like the jeans I'm wearing at the moment', would that mean that I hate all the other pairs of jeans I own?

Would it mean that I will NEVER buy another pair of jeans in my life?

No. It wouldn't.

I've not been caught out at anything. Get over it.

The thread is about tattoo's and with tattoo's you can't exactly change them when you get bored like you do with your jewellery.
You're stuck with them - forever.
So you can't exactly say AT THIS MOMENT with a tattoo.

I suppose you could cover it up with a plaster when you get bored and then take it off a year later when its back in fashion.

I said 'at this moment' about my ****ing earrings.

Are you actually retarded?

My tattoos aren't fashionable, I don't cover them up.

But penski, a question if I may... Do you honestly think that the full body tats look good? Or the guy with the massive black things stretching their ear to infinity?

It depends entirely on the person. If the work is good and they suit it then I think it looks good.

If they don't suit it or if it is poorly done then it looks bad.

You claimed that AT THE MOMENT you liked the earrings you had.
No I didn't. I said:

I like my ears. I love them; I love the way they look, I love the way they feel, and I love the quality, the look and the feel of the jewelery I have in them at the moment.

I like the jewelery I am wearing right now. At this moment.

I also like the jewelery I was wearing yesterday.

Not 'At this moment, I like this jewelery (but I may not in the future)' but 'I like the jewelery I am wearing at this moment in time'.

Please say you understand this. You've taken completely the wrong meaning of the words which I typed (and quite a bizarre one at that).

In a years time you might not like them and will put them in a drawer or you might think that these new Bobby Dazzler earrings are better and you prefer them for a while.
Considering that my tastes haven't changed in the last ten years, I can't see them changing in the next few months...
