Certainly not your purchase. If the ROG card is something you feel you need (the mic thingy-ma-jig) then go for it.

I don't change sound cards often, the only reason I am know is because my new build has no PCI slots on it so it made my sound card redundent.

Just praying the ROG card lives upto it's price.
