Wasn't sure where to post this but Singapore (1st Oct) has just been cancelled

Yeah I saw that, I doubt it'll be the last one cancelled this year either. I can't say Singapore is a race I'll overly miss, but it does have interesting effects on the Championship with Ferrari apparently strong at street circuits and Mercedes not up to their usual mighty standards at them. Looks like their planning on replacing it with another one, so the bloated 23-race calendar will continue.

(Usually we discuss that kind of thing in the Motorsports Off-topic thread :) )

It seem Mercedes have adopted a can't beat em, join em approach. They're now clearly "cheating" every bit as much as other teams!

jump to 2.13 to see their floppy wing.

The Mercedes rear wing always did flex (along with everyone elses). It's that the RB's flexed that much *more* than everyone else that it became noticeable. Funnily enough, the comparisons between RB's rear wing in Barcelona to here in Baku show that it's not flexing as much as it used to. Almost as if there's new FIA mandated checks on the way...

Whereas the Mercedes rear wing appears to be flexing more than it did at Barcelona. Their front wing is very flexible too.

It would be amusing after all this if Mercedes found themselves on the end of a protest. :D

God help Merc if they check there front wing.

They were using a skinny rear wing yesterday though so it's not going to flex as much

Bloody sky. Last mins of FP3 with fast laps and they go to more adverts. Pay £££ for the coverage and it's still . Would rather stick to YouTube highlights .... Annoyed.
