hi all,

i love azureus and i think its great however i do have a config problem as i only get yellow faces.

i've set up my firewall to allow two way conections to my home ip and have opened the public port (6881 example) but my router also wants a LAN port.

I have no idea what azureus uses. at the mo i have it on 21 thinking it might be ftp but thats got to be wrong!!

any help would be nice.

cheers in advance!

Open Azureus. Click Tools>Options.
Look at the incoming TCP Listen Port
Look at the UDP listen port.
If no port number is listed, add a port number. Any number should do so long as it's not used by something else. Try using a high number such as 64049 mentioned in the previous post. One number in both boxes will do.

You want to forward that port to the IP address of the computer running Azureus.

Click Start>Run type in cmd and press enter.
Then type ipconfig to view your IP address. Use that along with the port number you've chosen in your router.

i'm after the LAN port number for my router.

whatty what what.

You mean the internal IP address of your computer?

External:82.70.111.140:64049 > Router:192.168.1.1:64049 > Internal:192.168.1.2:64049

I'm lost....so to port forward, would you have to add all 3 to the router config?
