B Grade 970's

If they've been shipped back to source, cleaned, reassembled, tested, and repackaged, 2 months doesn't seem unreasonable to me. Especially if they went by ship to Taiwan or china and back in the process.
I could be wrong too though. :)

Based on the description for B grade, I don't think that happens.

Given the coil whine issues that have affected the 970 specifically I wouldn't touch a B grade one with a barge pole unless it gave me a massive saving over buying new.

I've purchased 2 b-grade cards from OCUK, I've had to send both back due to faults but the service has always been great - worth a punt if the price is right.

Unfortunately these 970's aren't quite cheap enough to tempt me.

I purchased my current B Grade 780Ti a few weeks back, the card was immaculate and I've had no issues with it at all. At £199 I thought it well worth the punt, you still have the option of sending it back under DSR if you're not initially happy with it and if it's still working after the 3 month warranty it's probably not going to fail on you any time soon.

As others have said the current price that B Grade 970s are going for isn't as tempting, but given how OCUK voluntarily took the hit for the 3.5GB VRAM fiasco you can understand how they can't afford to 'give' them away.

Pure speculation but it would not make business sense for OCUK to flood the Clearance section with returned B Grade 970s. Keeping a control on supply allows you to keep some control over demand and therefore the market rate. I imagine this is why we're seeing small batches being made available in drips and drabs.

I bought a B grade EVGA 970 and it whines like a buzz saw...it's actually audible in the next room. I can't be bothered to return it so I just whack the fans on 60% to cover it up...I'd definitely recommend paying £50 more for a new card.

That's a good price would bought one myself at that price.

With the 290x so cheap at the moment with full guarantee and being able too use the full memory I don't think that I would be tempted by the 970 at B grade at the moment you know that even if they don't have coil whine then the memory issue is going too be present. Still I am going too wait for June and see what happens with the graphics scene then but then again I said that back when the 290x was released but I am not a graphics power user I just want something a bit quieter than what I have got

I remember buying a B grade EVGA 8800 Ultra SC a few years back now. Had precisely no issues with it and as far as I know is still running in one of my mates PC's.
