B Grade- Advice Needed

So long story short. I got the following items as B Grade from watercooling sale

XSPC EX140 - £20

Received Today - Box was worse for wear, Really damp and nearly falling apart
Product itself looks perfect and unused - GREAT DEAL (50% Off)

XSPC EX420 - £35

Received Today - Box was in great condition
Product itself looks like its been to war and back(See Pictures) Im new to watercooling but there is no way that this has been fitted and then returned under DSR dont see how it would have got into such a bad state that fast. And bearing in mind packaging was perfect its unlikely warehouse/handling damage
The Fins themselves are bent and look to be rusting

I know that b grade items state
"Some items may have scuff marks or slight scratches but should otherwise be an operable product."

Just wondering what other people would precieve to be acceptiable

Yeah ill also post in CS Section. As ive never watercooled just wondering what the community would say in regards to condition.

The marks dont overly bother me but just not sure about the intergity with the conditions of fins etc.

If only some of the fins are damaged then I would not be too worried, I would do a full leak test and if the main cross section is leak proof then I would not personally worry.

Definatly do this.

Take the rad to your bathroom,fill it with distilled/dionized water then plug the threads and see if it leaks ect

The fins on a rad are extremely easy to bend so as long as the tubes are ok it will be fine. With a bit of time and patience the fins can be straightened easily enough.
