B Grade

These can be customer returns or manufacturers refurbished product and can be missing accessories.

Some models on the website can be older stock.

Check with CS but I've read on here that the 90 days warranty is with Overclockers and there is still a manufacturer warranty in place.

I have never bought B Grade but if I would find this out first if I did as I wouldn;t enjoy spending still decent money on something that isn't protected.

Just keep in mind that you could just get the product itself with no accessories. In the case of a motherboard just the board in a box. No I/O shield, cables or anything. Same with graphics cards. I bought a B Grade Palit GTX670 Jetstream a couple of years ago and it was just the card in it's box. It was a excellent card though.

I have had lot of b grade items, and i have never had any accessories, thay aways come with what is need to use the items but nothing more.
Also remember items like cou coolers dont always come with thermal paste, motherboards never have i/o.

However i have never had a problem with a b grade item.

Depends on the item, i have had new rma boards off b grade cheaped than the board would cost used.

Yeah personally i wouldn't buy one as i love boxes of new stuff i buy

It's always a viable option for people on a restricted budget. I'm the same as you and bought my build brand new. But if I was struggling I'd definitely considered a b grade gfx card. Would bring the price down a good amount.

I'm considering buying a B-grade gfx card, but not sure what 'no accessories' means. Will I need to buy anything else to use it? I have the 6 and 8 pin power leads from my PSU already.

Accessories don't matter as much with a gpu as all you really need is the card itself. You should already have a capable psu otherwise you shouldn't be looking at the card in the first place. Accessories would be mole to pci-e power adaptors (unneccessary if you have a decent psu with the required connections), crossfire bridge, driver/software disk (always best to get the latest driver online anyway), DVI-HDMI adaptor etc.

Yeah what Pastymuncher said. To be honest, when buying a new card i have NEVER used anything in the box.. Well, apart from the SLi bridge once.

Definitely a good way to save money, just like OEM stuff.

B Grade Gigabyte 780ti's on OCUK were plagued with freeze/crash issues in games. There was a bad batch floating around.

May i ask how much you paid?

Lets hope you'll be okay, i don't even remember the 780Ti coming out, i must have been either too young or out of the loop for faaar too long!
