I wanted to share an excellent experience I have had recently with B&W. I bought one of their Zeppelin iPod docks when they came out and was very happy with the device. It worked fine and gave no problems and a lovely room filling sound that its size didn't suggest it could. When I got my iPhone 3Gs however, I was suffering issues with music playback causing a 'fluttering' noise much like a static crackle.

I did my search on the internet and it seemed an issue others had seen on early model Zeppelins so I fired off an email to B&W customer services asking their view. Within a couple of hours I got an email back with a number of suggestions which I followed and managed to confirm the issue was with the Zeppelin as it didn't occure on my other dock device, or with my older iPhones and iPod. I mailed Ed in their support team again and he said no problem, we will collect it and sort it all. Now nothing new here but I had the device for over 12 months, had no proof of purchase, no box or anything. B&W not only shipped me a new box to package it in, they arranged collection from my wifes work next day and within 3 days sent me a brand new device!

In these days of crap service in many areas its nice to see a company go the extra mile and I have to say I have been very impressed and felt I should share it. Well done B&W!

I had a very good experience with B&W as well when I had to return my sub. The guy in the shop had said that they were the best of all the manufacturers for RMA stuff. I had my sub repaired and back within 5 days which I think is excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to buy their stuff again.

Ive had no issues with my B&W stuff but this is good to know.

Other companies for very good customer service are Western Digital, the orange and white jersey based store and the jungle store
