Hi

My bike was fine a week ago and it's been parked up since then outside with a cover on.

This morning when I strated it up the FI light came on and stayed on all the time but the bike seems to be running fine.

Any ideas?

It's a 2003 Kawasaki ZX6R 636 B1H.

check the exhaust valve servo

take off the panel behind the riders seat then turn the key on,it should twitch clockwise then anti clockwise,if it doesn't its that that's gone,it went on my bike and fI light stayed on

(it should also twitch when you turn off the ignition)

Thanks.

I've got the instructions now on how to read the fault code so will give it a try.

My model didn't have the servo valve.

The guide includes 05/06 bikes which did have the valve.

My code is 12 which is air pressure sensor so will lift the tank and have a proper look at the weekend.

I think Its the pointy plastic bit with two wires,it plugs into the airbox under the tank

only guessing though
