B450 cpu support

I am looking at buying a Ryzen 5600 and I have an MSI B450 GAMING PRO CARBON AC. The MSI Webpage doesn't list the 5600 only the 5600x, will the latest Beta Bios support the 5600 if it already supports the 5600x or do I have to wait for another bios?

Might be a good idea to email them and ask. I would have said it would be fine once, but nowadays boards are weird about this.

I have contacted them and they said not until a New Bios is released for it. I suspect it is a canned answer and they are just looking at the support list and it will probably work but I will wait just in case.

Does your board have bios flashback that can work without CPU? If it does, then the worst that would happen is that you have a board you can't use for a bit.

Well it can flash the Bios without a CPU so I guess that is what you mean.

Yeah, that way you shouldn't have to take the CPU out and put another back in, if it doesn't work with the 5600X bios.
