Bachelor Pad Art suggestions please!

Tip: Dont hang any of the ones you link OP. They're all either hideous or homoerotic
An emphatic plus trillion.

Go with movie posters like Blade Runner but throw in something like Drive to show you can tell the difference between cack and cool.

Japanese art - go with modern Japanese culture instead, nobody wants to look at a lotus petal sitting on a wave.

Architecture - buildings always look interesting

Have you seen the posters/artwork created by Olly Moss? Alternative takes on movie and gaming artwork. Some very clever pieces and surely some inspiration to be found on his website.

Erm, I can't tell if we're being serious or not. We're not unironically suggesting that a 33 year old man should put gaming or movie pictures on the walls of his house, are we?

Chris [BEANS],

the picture of the wave is called The Great Wave off Kanagawa and is by the Japanese Artist Katsushika Hokusai. It is a classic.

If you like his work, then you probably will also like the work of Ando Hiroshige.

Both of them were masters of the Ukiyo-e genre.

If you pop either of their names into a search engine along with Decorative art prints, you will find quite a few sites.

Um, I don't get it, I get most art forms just not this,
reminds me of 60's hippy album art, or 70's pen and ink landscapes,
what makes it so special?
From that site, this is the predecessor of anime tentacle rape.

Each to their own I suppose. I don't like all Japanese art, but I do like the Great Wave.

Everyone will have their own opinion and view on what is good or bad in art and what they like or don't like.

i've got loads of canvasses in my house. from comic book covers, drinks, films, and my favourite which is a front cover of the bystander 'summer number' from the 20's or 30's. i got them all from homesense.
