As an owner of an early S1.0, I can confirm the panels are not 'cheap'
The plastic they use is better that the branded Perspex and Altuglas I have in my workshop.
Most 15 minute cuts don't inc recessed inlays, countersinking and chamfered edges.
A laser will so not bend and install standoff in the midpanel.
The metal power switch, hex headed screws and corners cubes are precision engineered.
But I accept you could make a knock off without the 'nice bits' for a lot less.
You could also make a smaller 20 litre version without that much extra effort (see sig)
Your paying for the R&D time as well as the product, proffit and overheads.
The aesthetics are not to everyones tastes - but they most definitely have a 'style'

I was making my own custom case last year and spent much more than s 1.0 costs on acrylic, cutting etc.
Making statements like that seriously looks like very poor troll attempt, considering we love Parvum Systems cases here.
sounds good, what day we looking at , really liking the parvum case the more i see builds, is the s2 matx or atx.
I spent more than one of these cases on cables and sleeving alone, they are very well priced cases for the time, care and attention gone into each! Parvum build logs demonstrate this, maybe you need to check them out?!

I think you should look at the materials they used. There is no way they could come close to sub standard or being ugly. I think there maybe some deals with HERE which could help if you need visual aids!!

Well for me I dismissed it when I first saw it, but after build logs and viewing their site it's a must have for my new build

If the s2.0 were to be mITX I'd just about wet my pants in excitement but given your build log I don't have much faith.
They have been working on an ITX case

I'm not in any hurry so will be keeping an eye out for this!
