So there it is, is it better than my standard GT ? I would have to say yes in as much as i cant feel any descenible loss of comfort and you do have a boost in performance you can feel.

These Supersports shifts gear noticably faster its supposed to be 50% faster i dont know about that but you can feel the difference. Its got the usual big chunky paddles not that im ever going to use them, i just cant see the point, you boot it in drive and you have overtaken pretty much anything you might want to overtake, massive just a wall of power 0-100 is 8.9 seconds 0-60 3.7 seconds, 204mph flat out, 621bhp. Which is less than the mapped one i drove from Phantom cars which had 650bhp but this feels faster, probably the gearbox. You have to wonder what would happen if you mapped this one :) This gearbox can also do double down shifts whatever that means. I cant say enough good things about this gearbox, id like to see a person change gear that fast and crisply.

You can feel the extra power over my standard one, just pulls like a train from any speed and the kick down is brutal. Good pedals too, its got the drilled out Mulliner style ones, they feel nice under your trainer. Also all the power is there, at next to no revs, 1500 revs and its pulling like a nutter even better than normal. Remember this car is the thick end of 2.5 tons.

The ride is firmer and the steering faster, but the ride is still what you want from a Bentley even with big 20 inch wheels and the stiffer suspension. I did some driving over cobbles speed bumps the lot today, set to soft the suspension was just fine set to firm it was fine too, they really got the suspension sorted on this. There is not one single noise not a knock not a squeak nothing, all you can hear are the tyres on the road and a muted exhaust noise. Its also a fraction lower than a standard car about an inch maybe.

They changed the 4 wheel drive split on the supersport i think the bias is now 60/40 in favour of the rear, i cant tell the difference nor probably ever will. I will say you dont really need to slow down to go round a corner, it just bites and pulls you through it. Rain dosent bother this car, dosent make any difference. Even snow in my old one was no problem, this 4 wheel drive business does work.

12 mpg round town so its the same as the normal GT, it runs on some sort of eco juice biofuel **** with no loss of power too, thats great.

Carbon ceramic brakes, this thing has huge discs, best iv ever felt, stronger than Porsche ceramics but they squeal when stopping from town speeds funny enough, anyway unbelievable brakes, that is something you notice straight away over the standard car.

Sadly no Naim stereo in this one, which is a slight loss cos i like a bit of music, but the standard one is alright. Bluetooth, ipod and all that. I had a bit of back to 1989 house and some old school reggae on today and the tunes were bumping :)

Options, no massage seats but thats a gimick anyway, I cant ever remember using them on my one. Its got power boot, camera, garage opener, television. These things come with everything anyway, No Naim hifi is the biggest blow, but what the ****, who am i Pavarotti :D Its got the alloy filler cap with the big B on it, thats a work of art in itself.

The car seems just as quiet as a standard car despite losing some sound proofing to keep the weight down, till you boot it then it has a lovely deep growl, better than the standard one. When i find a chav to race, thats the last noise he's gonna hear :) Despite my best efforts to find one the best i could manage today were 2 lovely young things in a Cooper S to race :)

Carbon fibre dash, im not sure about that i would have preferred black piano wood but still. This carbon fibre has got some special Bentley 65% shine to it, whatever, the fit and finish are just above and beyond. I spent the last 10 days in a Rolls and the leather in the Bentley is just as good, alright there is something about a Phantom, but its not inside, its just the presense of the car in general. Anyway im going to stop comparing the 2 cars now because they are aimed at 2 different audiences.

Breitling clock, what can you say, beat that, its the ****** :)

The spoiler pops up at 50mph and there's a cool switch to press inside to pop it up and down in traffic, same as in the standard car.

Fett my man, the mats, superb quality very nice, the right depth of pile on the carpet and bound leather edges :)

The colour, its a rare colour but funny enough they had 2 in stock the same colour, Aquamarine it called, it stands out from all the usual silver cars, looks lovely its also a colour i can see is going to glow when polished up. I was dead set on a black one, they had a black one actually until i saw this in the flesh, then i had a change of heart.

The wheels look great in my opinion, gloss black special light weight 20 inch jobs with some 275/35/20 Pirelli PZero tyres i think they are, its also got a wider stance at the rear than a standard GT a bit wider on the rear wheel arches. Anyway whatever they are they look better than the normal mulinner or even the speed alloys.

Its got the 2 extra air intakes at the sides of the front valance and the different rear valance exhaust surround over the standard car, also all the grills and brightwork are a sort of black not the usual bright chrome. Looks well, pure mean from the front when you see this coming up behind you, very agressive. Oh yea and 2 bonnet vents that i think look well too.

Inside they are removing the alacantra from the centre of the seats for me because i really just dont like it, and replaced with normal black quilted leather. Iv been told to keep the alacantra ready for resale should the next buyer want it. Its got the embroidered Bentley crests to all seats. They use that alacantra to supposedly stop you sliding around on the seat, yea right. Im going to stick to the same colour portland stitching and leave the door panels alone. Primary and secondary hide on this car are both beluga which is a result because you get the black dash.

The doors have got the right clunk when you close them, i hate rattles from doors, these weigh a ton and go "thunk".

Its got the new 3 spoke steering wheel rather than the 4 spoke wheel my old one has, i didnt like that at first but its grown on me. The switches have the same goot quality feel, maybe not quite what they were in the old Turbo R but good, good enough for anyone. The steering wheel im told is "sot touch" leather whatever that is.

The car feels absolutely rock steady, very confidence inspiring. Thats whats wrong with the Italian cars, they just seem fragile as well as uncomfortable to me. This Bentley is the all in one, fast, good looking, great tourer and comfortable. You can drive this every day, its not a special occassion car. I know someones gonna say but what about the footballers buying them, well that cant be helped and no one gonna mistake me for a footballer when they see me in it.

Where to go after this i dont know but it wont be a Rolls thats for sure, as beautiful and well built as they are they aint for me. I think a new Mulsanne once a few 1 year old ones come on the market. In the mean time this is it **** it, im determined to get some use out of this one, iv bought the Panamera and the Rolls over the phone now without seeing them, this is the first one in a while iv gone out and put the work into and its worth it. I was happy to ring the delivery bloke for the Rolls and tell him there was a diversion to the next owner.

My longest ever car review this has turned into, iv impressed myself :)

Lastly Mark the chap from sales it has to be said was enough to restore faith to an unloved industry, no stuck up bad attitude, and i am the original swear too much rough sounding, rough looking buyer, you mate are a credit to that company.

Lordrobes, why do i do a Jeremy Kyle now and then? Well thats cos when im drunk im an arse and talk too much, it also gets it off my chest, sorry if that upsets you.

Iv never felt an auto car this size pull like it, its just a wall of power.

Lovely cars. I'm afraid, however, that in my opinion that colour combination is utterly, hideously, beyond nasty :(

Its what you call a "brave" choice of colour, and stands out from the rest, i was set on black till i saw this one.

Very nice mate :) The Reebok Classics pic did make me laugh though :p

Ride height looks a little high to me, and not sure about the colour, but from the wall of text you seem to be made up with it - Enjoy :)

Lot of hate for the wheels, honestly they are great looking in the flesh, and get on them ceramic brakes.

As for my Reeboks i got about 8 pair of them in different colours, them trainers are quality :D

Reebok Classics pic is funny. Nice car DM, liking the colour too. Looks raised in the pics though? Has it got that fancy air suspension malarky.

4x4 stance does no favours.. ;)

You got a button inside to raise and lower the car then you use the dial to change the setting, that is in comfort mode in the pic or whatever its called.

Believe me it sits down nice in sport but its not great round town.
