Stuck the prommy on this rig (k8n neo plat) and for some bizarre reason I can no longer get into the bios; I just get a black screen with a flashing cursor at the top left hand corner.

I've tried doing a full reflash... no joy.

Is this common for this 'board or has something gone **** whilst putting the prommy on?

Hmm, I distinctly remember having issues with this board and a Vapo LS when starting up automatically. Manually starting the phase unit and then starting the MB myself once the vapo was cold got round it for me. Not sure if the same applies to a Prommy though.

I've had cold boot issues with this board from day one but this is not the current issue. I can get into Windows fine, run prime, play my games et al.

Getting into the BIOS to actually start some overclocking is where I'm falling short! ATM, the issue I have is the mem is running 1:1 and it's only CH5 so tops out on it's SPD (2-6-3-2) at around 220MHz synched (Windows MSI tweak overclocker thingy).

If it's not one thing, it's something else
