Back up programs

As above used Acronis True Image for years with no trouble till now, changed to Vista 64 bit and sata drives and it will make a image ok but won't restore, gets to the point of asking for the disc to restore and it locks back to the restore remote hard drive, so goes no farther.

Any ideas

is that with 2009 or at least v11?

I use Acronis v11 with Vista 64 and have successfully backed up and restored my C: with no problem (and thank god for that too !)

Thanks for the replys it seems to be the sata drives I think as have done a backup and restore on other box which is XP Pro and IDE drives and works fine, any thoughts about that one.
In passing Lee and bledd do you have sata drive if so it would appear more money required for me to upgrade to v11 as I am on 10 and that could be the trouble. Thanks all for the help as Acronis do not reply to tech quiries at all as I have mailed severel times, so the forum once again sorts it!!!!

Looked all over and found someone on a forum that had a sim. problem and reinstalled it, so went to uninstall it and was given the option to repair which I did, what do you know it now works, never had it before but there you go working fine now.
