My friend has a Dell pc which came from the factory with 2 250 gig drives in raid 0
Windows has been complaining about corrupt system files so he wanted it backed up and converted to a non raid system. I've cloned (ghost) the raid 0 drives to a single 500 gig drive but it will not boot. I think this is because of the sata raid controller drivers being present on the single drive which makes Windows bluescreen on startup. Is there any way to remove the sata raid drivers or is there better software to back up the raid 0 on to one drive.
I can't belive Dell put everything on a raid 0
Edit, i fixed the problem Windows files before i cloned the drive.
