back up system

does anyone know a good software program that I can backup all my data and settings on my PC (ie all programs mp3s)?
Dont fancy bying a external hd

How about Window's Built in NT Backup?
Not sure what you mean about an external HD.... if you don't have the space on your current drive you're going to have to put it somewhere.

this does not work I have windows nt ?

Cobian is what you need:
http://www.educ.umu.se/~cobian/cobianbackup.htm

You will need to setup a task to backup the important folders, but it can do it into ZIP files, keep a set number of copies, use FTP etc. Cracking free software.
