Backing up photos

Its likely in the event of a house fire, you should have 1 cloud backup as well.

Off site backup is always good. Touch wood that no one actually will ever need to use it!

I used to use Freefilesync before getting a Synology.

Nice one. The current free software I'm using writes a while new zipped folder everytime. Really annoying.

Freefilesync was pretty good, it will do incremental backups and you can set it to monitor folders and automatically sync them to another folder.

I definitely need to double back-up and use amazon. Just wondering how long 500gb upload will take :eek:

Just Iimit the upload bandwidth and let it run slowly in the background.

I got backups of the backups of the backups! SSD, HDD....would like to use cloud too but i am tight!
