Right Ho, so im going to switch sometime between monday and tuesday..from XP 32bit to Vista Ultimate 64bit...its here now, just want mroe ram first...

So, i have Steam and some onliners aswell COD4, Grid, DoW, Crysis and TDU, i know how to back the main games saves up, but what about my CGUI in AoC, and my saves on Steam....

Also is there a uTorrent, Deamon Tools, Peer Guardian 2 in Vista 64bit? (for torrenting my mods, faster, easier, and for mounting mini images so i dont need discs, nothing illegal!!)

you need perrguardian for nothing illegal? ;)

utorrent and DT will work fine in vista64, I haven't used peerguardian though.

all those apps work in vista x64, as for steam just copy your saves to a cd/dvd to be sure you still have them.

Partition your HDD in future.

OS on one partition
Applications/Games on another

Then when you reinstall or change your OS, you dont touch your games folders. You just have to reinstall the games in the same location (to get the registry settings) and all your saves and files will be there.
