Do you mean CDs / DVDs with original software or data?

Either way I suggest you use a USB HDD - more reliable and cheap now.

don't understand why you'd want to backup winrar..

what os are you using (as in which windows), and are you running out of space on c:?

Find ourself a burning application. Nero/BurnXP e.t.c and buy some DVD disks. Bare in mind you need a DVD writter to burn to DVD disks. Once you have done that then you can use the application/program to put your files to DVD disk.
