Backpack (Spec me)

Looking for a weekend use, small-medium sized backpack (say 20-30 litres) that is modern and could fit say an ipad, MacBook Air, some clothes, shoes and accessories in.

So far looking at:

North Face Borealis

Oakley Acho Charlie 2.0

Oakley Kitchen / Bathroom sink

Any ideas?
 
I'd check out Eastpak.

I have three of their bags (a satchel, weekend bag and a backpack) and they're all really well made.

Depends how much you want to spend of course though.

I second Eastpak. I bought a backpack of theirs about 5 years ago, still going strong. Pretty much daily use, including many festivals!
 
For me I like the Berghaus Airflow range. I just like how comfortable they are when walking / trekking.

they are a funny shape though because of the back system..they are ideal for a days walking with clothing/waterproofs in, I can imagine they would be no use to carry a macbook in
 
Your'e right they are quite curved inside. The macbook would have to go against the outside face of the bag. Just my prefernce and I'd make it work regardless as I like how comfortable they are :) I also like the fact with these bags you can put whatever you like in the bag and you never end up with something sticking in your back! Though this can be avoided by not rushing your bag packing.
 
I have used a Oakley Kitchen Sink for about 3 years now everyday for work, still looks like new. a really good bag.
 
Didnt want to start a new post when i could reply to this one, looking for advise on a new backpack, need something that will carry my 16" MacBook, Lenovo x1, 11"iPAD, plus cables, lunch and gym kit, any ideas?
 
Bought a Bellroy Vantage backpack (26L) about a year ago and use it daily for work and holidays, hikes, etc.
Very nice and comfortable backpack with good organisation. Would recommend a look at Bellroy, I also bought a sling a few weeks back and it's also very nicely constructed and practical.
 
Samsonite do backpacks. I’ve bought a couple over the last few years and found them good

I've yet to find the perfect backpack. I have 2 Osprey packs, 2 5.11 packs, an Aer, a Packsafe... and on top of that a few for outdoorsy stuffs. All frustrate me one way or another.

I don't get those roll top ones though for everyday use, seems to be a bit of a trend though.
