Looking for suggestions please....

Building a new pc and looking for a backup solution. Would I be better getting an external usb Drive, an extra internal drive, or a nas?

My pc will have around 1TB data to backup.

I use a combination of external usb drive and blackblaze. Been using this setup for years and it's been great!
Backups are good
Backups of backups are better!

Depends what you're backing up really.

If it's photos then you can back them up for free on Amazon drive.

If videos, then I think Google drive is free (?)

Or if it's photos / videos which you want to access on other devices (like a tv) then a NAS can be good, or if your router supports it, even a regular external hard drive which plugs into your router to make a DIY NAS.

1tb is really not a lot though, so you're probably best off with a regular external hard drive. Take it to the office or a family member's house if you can, so if your place burns down it'll survive.
