Backup Android over FTP

Evening everyone,

Im running Wanamlite on my s4. Im wanting to backup the whole phone so I can restore it to a new phone or if I need something back. I would like it to be able to scp or FTP to my server at home.

Does anyone know of an app that can do that?

I don't know of an all-in-one product but have a look Titanium Backup (requires root), which will allow you to backup apps + Phone settings/SMS/Call-logs (creates backups on your SD card) and then schedule these backups.

Then add on something like FolderSync which will sync XYZ directory (ie - the Titanium Backup directory on your SD card) with a cloud service or FTP server etc.

If you want to create a complete image backup of the phone then you'll need something like CWM or TWRP recovery bootloader, manually create the image and then use a file sync app to sync it elsewhere.

Really the best way to do this is to root, install recovery and take a complete system image with TWRP or CWM.
