Backup HD for small business

Hi guys, not been on here in a while.

I am going to be starting my own business soon from my office at home, and need to be able to back up my files safely. Can anyone suggest the best way to do this and/or recommend a decent HD that I can use (External HD I assume is still the best way?). Capacity isn't massively important at the moment as it would take me quite a while to fill up 500GB of backup storage.

£100 maximum budget as I am having to spend quite a bit of money on software and bits to get going.

Get 2 HDs

One at home, then another one off site, like at your in-law's house.

for 500G you could also use Google Drive too for cloud.
