I'm having problems at the moment running a backup on our exchange 2000 system. I re-scheduled an auto backup because it turned out our system wasn't being backed up correctly. The first backup using the new schedule ran fine, did everything I wanted it to do. Now everytime the backup tries to run I get the following error message: "There is no unused media available with the selected type"

I have tried to prepare the media using the computer management console, but the status shows "loaded, unprepared" then goes to "idle, unprepared". I've created a new service to allow NTBackup to run automatically (as I understand it, the software is looking for a tape that it doesn't know the name of since the tape was manually changed when the software was closed). I have also tried to run the backup manually, but I get the same error. I have cleared all the tape libraries, tried to re-inventory the tapes but the tape drive doesn't seem to do anything (but it does detect that there is a tape present in the drive). Is there any way to fix this? I'm ready to call it quits and chuck the ******* thing out the window!

Thanks in advance!
