Backup Software

Hey Guys,

Just wondered what backup software you all use, I Dont trust windows backup as had lots of issues in the past when its comes to restoring the operating system. I want to use a standalone app, Ideally a app that will restore the image back outside of windows when a restore is needed, Its going to be mainly used on windows 7.

I have recently gone through the hassle of installing my OS on my Sony Vaio laptop, Got rid of all the sony vaio rubbish and now have it running with all the apps i need, Just need to get it backed up. Thanks in advance.

Free version of Macrium reflect is excellent

and considerably faster than the Windows built-in system image when it comes to restoring to HDD.

Thanks guys, set my backup going. Can i just create bootable media when i want to restore it.

Sure, if you have a spare system. It's a good idea to do it before the drive fails.
