I've got 7 X 2TB hard drives in my PC that for which I want to find a good backup solution. I have 7 2TB drives ready for backup.
I was thinking of going for an 8 bay SATA storage tower - software RAID. Supports RAID, JBOD, port multiplier.

The plan is to store it in a hidden location and connect it to the PC once a week via e-sata for an incremental backup and not using RAID.
I'm new to this kind of thing though so has anyone got any experience with this kind of solution and can offer some advice? I'm running Windows 7 64it and I'm unsure what software to use.
