Backup specific locations

Hi,

I have Windows 8.1 and a dedicated internal backup drive, I've been using Windows File History and I really don't like it, it works in the opposite way that I would want IE you have to exclude locations rather than just add the one or two locations that I want backed up.

Is there any way or any software that I can use to backup to an internal drive that I can point to the one or two folders I want backing up that will copy and changes made to those folders automatically?

Thanks

I'm using FileHistory at the moment, I've just added the folders I want syncing to a library (or created a new library) and it syncs them. Admittedly I don't use libraries for anything else, so I removed all the default ones first.

Install the crashplan client and use that, it's free and frankly brilliant. It'll create and encrypted backup too so you could save it onto an external drive if you wanted to.

You just add what you want backed up, very easy to use and it can run at scheduled times etc. I've had problems with Synctoy so I'd always recommend Crashplan or Robocopy.

This is what I do too, I have a specific library for backups.

Prior to Windows 8 I used Cobian which is very reliable.
