Bad Company 2 Login problem

Anyone able to login to BC2 multiplayer today? All I'm getting is:

"A connection error has occured. If this happened during account creation press cancel and then login with your new account."

Any ideas?

Thanks KD, that's interesting - I had it on steam and when I set up the Origin stuff in advance of BF3 added it there as well.

Tried it on steam today and got the error so deleted the steam install and downloaded/installed the Origin version instead (thinking having added it to Origin might have registered it there or some othe such EA madness).

Get exactly the same problem playing it via Origin now. Suppose I could re download on Steam and give that a try as well...

I know i'm hitting the EA authentication servers because it warns me if i use the wrong ID/password combo.
