bad cpu scores

hi i new to over-clocking but i got an asus formula iv and a phenom 1090tbe but I'm getting really low scores in 3d mark vantage i compared my score to others and find there where much higher with the same cpu at the same speed is there some kind of setting in the bios that i need to change any help would be very appreciated thank you

What graphic card do you have and what did they have. If you have ati and they have nvidia there cpu score will be better because of physcs on the nvidia card. Does not mean its not as good just works differently so get different scores
