Bad news on PES6 360

well, just been playing WE:10 on the PS2. its pretty good!

there are option files out already with the right names/kits/transfers (tevez at Wham etc).

overall - good - but not much better than pro evo 5...

shame, as i would say 90% of the console lot want you back, + god knows how many of the rest of the forum, but i wont derail the thread

Firstly, how did you get the game so soon? and secondly, once you find and download the edited option file, how do you put it onto your memory card?

i imported the game from Jpn via play-asia, its been available there for a couple of weeks..

i have something called "max drive" it has a USB key which u download saved games/option files and then plug into PS2, and boot it up wth provided disc, and uncrush the .max files to the mem card.

there are other ways of doing it via CD... but i use what i know!

WE10 been around for along time its not Pro Evo 6 its an improved version of Pro Evo 5.

Japs will get our version later on from Konami its the improved version I always got both because it improved and like to keep up to date. :)

So Basically its in the middle of Pro Evo 6 and Pro Evo 5.

hmm is that right? i have seen a lot of WE10/Proevo6 stuff implying they are infact one and the same...

the jap version is the first released .....heh wouldn't you think it strange that konami release their version after europes?? :rolleyes:

I've been playing WE10 on ps2 for ages, months and months ...basically PES6 is just an update to WE10 ...the same as PES5 was to WE9. also like how the j-league version is slightly tweaked from the same generation WE version in terms of gameplay.

PES6 should play pretty similar to WE10 but have some subtle differences.

WE10 is the best of the series by far once you get used to it so hopefully PES6 will be ok.

Although sometimes a tad strict (sorry i had to say it) i have noticed the policing within the PC&CG section has somewhat plumeted :( hence how things like this can spiral into 7 pages of meh lol

Im not wrong I said they are improved version of what we get do you see Winning Eleven on 360 in Japan at moment no. Its coming out next January and if you see videos its exactly the same as 360 version and will just be tweaked or maybe not this time.

Basically these games are just improvement following on from previous PES games with little tweaks looks at date of Pro Evo in europe and the Winning Eleven release date if you dont beleive me.

Thats what i said which is correct.

Its actually a very touchy subject because you could look at it as PES comes first or WE comes first. But they just follow on from each other and Japanese benefit because they get a tweaked european version and we get a tweaked version of that so on so fourth.

And Nickg the reason people are comparing Pro Evo 6 to WE10 its basically the same but a few tweaks in Pro Evo 6. Thats how these games have worked they always run on from each other and generally improve.

am I a glory hunter then? i support ipswich town. i was 6 when i started to support them, when they won the FA Cup, and 3 years later they had arguably the best side in europe when they won the UEFA cup and finished 2nd in division 1 (some of you probably won't remember that).

but as it happens i was born in ipswich so they are my local side, and i have lived and worked here all my life so far.
