Bad sectors on HDD

So I did a scan of my F3 today... and got one bad sector

Slightly annoyed as I know this'll effect resale if I chose to, and it's also my data drive.

I have a direct copy back up, so I'm not too worried, but yeah, slightly concerned about it now...

Anyone feel like shedding a bit of light on bad sectors in general?

How many bad sectors until it's worth RMAing/you'd be allowed to?
Is it a downhill slope? Now one's gone, is it likely that more will follow, or is it just completely random?

Run the Seatools test on it and see if it fails. That's the first thing I would do.

If it has a bad sector RMA it. However if it was past warranty i would leave it. I usally am ok with bad sectors upto about 2%.

Usally bad sectors multiply.

Passed the Seatools S.M.A.R.T test.. :S Now more unsure!

Not the SMART test. Install Seastools and run a long test on your drive.

Long Generic? Because I've heard mention of Long DST, but don't seem to get that as an option :S
