Them horrible horrible little lumps on the headlights of the new fiesta, why ???

The massive black bumpers on the ka, they look so much better colour coded

corsas in general new or old

citroen c2s in general

cars with lights that come on automatically as soon as it gets even slightly dark, that really really annoys me

Any designer who pretends that front numberplates don't exist and makes no provision for one then wonders why everyone thinks their concept looks terrible once it's been made road legal.

those tringular exhausts on the new Civic - stupid
so i'm on my way home, stuck in traffic as i scream along at a heady 3MPH and something occurs to me.
the exhaust openings you mention on the new civic aren't a million miles apart from the same feature on the RX8.ok the Mazda doesn't have a chrome surround, and the pipes stick a little further out, but they look pretty similar to me.
of course after the revelation that only some of the gas is removed through the ports and the rest leaves a regular pipe you have to think it's a little silly, but aesthetically they look the same-ish.

more contributions,
the rear of the Porsche Boxster...this would look rubbish on a car costing half as much never mind costing Porsche money.

the Pug 307 cc...it looks like some of the animals from "Jumanji" have sat on it.

Regarding the Civic's exhausts...

Aparently only the diesel and 1.4 models have the dodgy exhaust mentioned earlier in the thread. The 1.8 comes straight out the back :)

It's quite a good cost saving idea actually. Your not then wasting money on a shiney exhaust everytime it goes as there'd be no point as no-one sees it. :)

Might be controversial but I hate 4-door cars that hide the rear door handles to make it look like a coupe. Marketing people obviously think 4-door cars are unsexy....if you've got kids and need a 4-door car grow up and deal with it!

Oh yeah - the rear end of the new shape 3-series is bloody awful too.

I'll further that point and say M3 mirrors on an M3. The old M3 (can't remember the code) is a sharp, square car wheres the M3 mirrors are curvy and sleek. They don't go at all imo.

My hates are:

Soft-top Mini thingys that somebody's mentioned;
New Audi headlights, worse than the old ones.
