Bad Taste?

Haha South Park is meant to be offensive. But if you pay attention properly you can usually see the point they are trying to make. And it's always a sensible one (well ok, some episodes don't have any deeper meaning but a lot do). You just can't disagree with Matt Stone and Trey Parker, they just make so much sense.

I'll also add that Drawn Together is just as, if not more politically incorrect than South Park and no one complains about that because it's not as well known. That was the first show I ever saw a Diana joke in.

South Park is easily my favourite comedy at the moment, it just keeps getting funnier.

I do think it's a bit too soon to be taking the micky out of Steve, but im sure they wont have meant to do it in an offensive way...

I wouldn't even go as far as to say they're taking the mick out of him, I saw it as a joke, but not as one directed at him.

Which would come into the category of "one of the latest" episodes :)

and its not stans brother. Ike is Kyles brother

I think it is a bit wrong especially seeing as its so soon after his death and dont find south park funny in the least but dont really find it that offensive

Yeah it has to be exactly 22 years before it's funny. That's why AIDS is funny now.

I reckon the only people who can say they are offended by it are people who were his relatives/personal friends or fans(people who never watched his show until after the news of his death dont count).

I think its agreeable that this is in bad taste, but then again so is pretty much everything in South Park and I find the series hilarious :)

One of my pet hates is when people pretend they are genuinely offended about something just so that they can look morally superior to the 'offender'. It's obvious when someone does this and I think they should be grossly exposed for what they are doing whenever this happens, to show as an example for others.

Its a cartoon mate, relax !!!

I am relaxed, and yes south park is just a silly cartoon, but it's crap :)

I don't find the Steve Irwin thing offensive, but thinking about it...how would you guys feel if a close relative of yours had just died a pretty terrible death , and was then put into a cartoon on the television? One thats clearly taking the **** out of them?

You wouldn't feel very nice.

Oh, and people that don't like south park have no humour or intelligence
