"Wrong section"

I’m not sure if it’s worth upgrading at the moment. I’ve been told that prices for everything have become quite ridiculous. Originally, I was aiming to move to the AM5 platform last year, but I’m not sure the performance jump is there, even if prices were normal.

My current specs are:

  • CPU: Ryzen 7 5800X + Noctua U12S Heatsink
  • Motherboard: ASUS Crosshair VI Hero (X370)
  • RAM: 32GB (my last upgrade)
  • Storage: samsung 1TB SSD NVME M.2 + 3TB & 4TB HDDs
The 'weak links' are:

  • GPU: Back to using my GeForce GTX Titan X
  • Monitor: 24" 1080p screen"

Do your homework when taking advice from hornet.

Upgrade your GPU, that'll be massive bottleneck. Deals pop up in the MM frequently. You don't need the latest and greatest, I just bought a 5060ti and it works fine at 1440p, if not stellar.
what are the prices like at the moment and what would you recommend ?
anything things would be a little better but I want a half decent upgdade for the price without spending too much. under £150 if possible.

Thanks, I think ill aim for a GPU and Monitor for now, Im think something a 2070 or better would be the best option for a decent upgrade. and monitor 27"-32" maybe a 1440p nice display.
any thoughts ?
