Just finished building everything and it fired up 1st time :D

but every time it boots it comes up with the following

Marvel controller bios .......
Sanning Controller.......
Array Info
No array dedected
Disks Info
No hard drive detected

Ctlr & M to configure Marvel Raid controller
Space to continue


Have i missed somit during install ?

What can i do to get rid of this message ?

I have 2 h/d's a 74gb Raptor and a 320gb 7200.10 so nothing in raid.
both show in windows ok but I notice that they are marked as IDE in the
bios!!

I assume that you are using the Intel matrix controller for your HHD, if so the Marvell controller can be safely disabled in the bios, this will stop the message appeaing and speed up your boot time.

If you are not using RAID you should set your SATA drives to ACHI (not IDE) in the bios.

Cured the 1st bit but it will not let me boot into windows when changing IDE
to ACHI in the bios.

Any other tips how to get the best out of this motherboard would be helpful.

Also using TAT there is a 3-4c diff between cores CPU0 = 24 CPU1 = 27 is
this okay or do I neet to reseat/ tighten the cooler?

needs a full format to enable achi and f6 the drivers with a floppy
