Perhaps if he wasn’t swimming with a broken arm and leg he’d have been ok with the shark?Friend of mine broke his upper and lower arm in a motorcross race, got his cast off then stepped off a high curb breaking his tib and fib. He then decided it was time for a nice holiday and got attacked by a shark while swimming.

Cousin's friend came from hospital after shoulder replacement surgery. Gets home and trips on the doorstep breaking her wrist on the other arm.
Yeah, one minute they were just making a cup of tea and the next they have a ping pong ball in the bumhole

Shoulder replacement removes damaged areas of bone and replaces them with parts made of metal and plastic (implants). This surgery is called shoulder arthroplasty (ARTH-row-plas-tee). The shoulder is a ball-and-socket joint. The round head (ball) of the upper arm bone fits into a shallow socket in the shoulder.
I have a full knee replacement.
Doesn't shoulder replacement leave you with limited mobility, which is less likely with other joints that are more straightforward to replicate?

Tell my right metal knee that, I'm back under the GP with it.
I also deal with a lot of Clinical Negligence claims where the replacements in knees & hips have gone wrong.
Funnily enough in 13 years I've never had a shoulder replacement.
I'm not suggesting that any of them are easy operations. Someone I know was keen on getting a knee replacement until they were told exactly what it entailed. They then decided that their knee pain wasn't that bad after all.
Yes? My step-dad has had 2 knees, 2 hips and 1 shoulder replaced over the years on the NHS.
