Bag inside of my comp

It wouldn't be something I'd expect to find. Most equipment that needs attention before it's powered up has a nice warning sticker over the power socket.

Inserting foam like this would be a much better option than leaving the end-user to attach CPU coolers and the like, but you'd expect warnings.

It's all very odd.

I'm having the same problem wrapping my head around how it got past me to remove this as soon as i got it. Guess its 50/50 with there being no proper labeling (To my knowledge, i have been known to be a dip**** in the past and i will not rule out it being completely my own fault) and me not paying proper attention and just wanting to play on my new comp lol.

I had this issue with mine, strange noise on boot up, checked inside. Took the bag out, job done, surely you would notice that the noise its making is not normal for a pc?!?!

If it was bought from OCUK then it is highly unlikely that bag contains a marsh mallow mixture and you should not attempt to eat it

Did the bag look like this?

Just eat contents, they'll be nicely matured by now.

Well I can confirm that OC built systems do come with expanded foam to prevent parts from moving around in transit as my current system came like this .....

And yes I did remove mine if only just to see the shiny tech inside :)

Anything enclosed to warn you?

With a windowed case it'd be pretty obvious, but there's no reason to open the case on a new PC to check for foreign bodies.

It seems like a really good idea that has been slightly let down by a lack of thought.
