Due to the recent purchase of the 70 - 200 f2.8 and 1.4x III extender I've found that my lowpro slingshot 200 AW just isn't cutting the mustard with space for all my gubbins for taking to the footy and inevitably wherever else i go with all my lenses.

I'm tending to rip out most of the partitions in the bag so I can fit in my 70 - 200 along with extender, 5DII as well as a 50 mm and flash with pop up diffuser (ebay special) I also strap a walkstool 55XL across my shoulder with my monopod (although this is to be replaced)

What I'm looking for is something which will take all this along with possibly adding in my 450D with kit lens and something like the jobby gorillapod as well since with the clocks changing I can probably use that camera remotely to get some behind the goal shots as well.

As my lens collection grows I will no doubt try to replace a lens or two with a 24 - 70 and 16 - 35 at some point so future expansion is to be considered as well.

Any thoughts on which bag would be suitable :)

I dont mind too much on cost if its going to do the job and more importantly last! I'll take a look at the 350AW.....I remember seeing as well Raymond post an image of his bag with his 2 camera wedding set up *cough raymond get in here cough* but cant remember what bag / topic i saw it in :)

I think ultimately it will be a bag that can carry 2 bodies, 3 / 4 lenses plus flash and triggers / cards / batteries oh and nearly forgot pockets for rolled up water proof trousers, hi vis vest and camera rainsleeve.....think thats everything i need

Just got a uber cheap Crumpler off the bay, £157 Match Maker that has been used once for £40, i don't really have anything to add, just wanted to brag!!

F-Stop Loka. Best camera bag I have ever owned (Including quite a few Lowpro and Tamrak Bags) by far. Expensive, but also very well though out and well made. I suspect the only upgrade I will ever do is to get other F-Stop bags.

just had a look on their site and all their Loka range of bags are out of stock

Think Tank Retrospective 20 will easily take your 70-200 and extender. I also carry 3 lenses and a speedlite and a stack of accessories in mine.

If you are sure you need another body have a look at the 30 which will easily take what you want and room for expansion.

These bags wee all over the build quality of a lowepro or crumpler etc from a great height, the straps are the best I've ever felt on any bag and the strength and quality is amazing. If I could afford to use one for a work bag I would :D I could tow my car with the strap.

The bags also don't scream camera gear.

Heres a good video look at the 20, the bloke is irritating in parts but shows what it fits...

This one shows how much you can get in a 30...

Also this one shows very well the amount of gear you can carry in the 30....

thanks danny, will take a look at them.....and on that note of the thinktank bags I've finally found the topic which Raymond Lin posted a pic of his and guess what it was .......A Thinktank Airport International V2.0.

The Airport International is more like a suitcase lol It has wheels and a lock!

Well i decided to bite the bullet and get the Thinktank Airport Antidote V2.0 It arrived on Saturday but as i asked for it to be delivered to my work address could only pick it up from the post office today.

On a smaller scale to Raymonds Thinktank bag but still with the hand luggage styling which doesn't automatically point to camera equipment.

But although it doesn't look like a camera bag it can certainly pack it all in!

Starting at bottom left there are......

Filters and front / rear caps, 100mm f2.8 macro, 70 - 300mm f4.5 - 5.6, 28 - 105mm f3.5 - 4.5, 50 mm f1.8 with extender bag under, Canon 450D, Canon 5DII with 1.4 III extender and 70 - 200 mm f2.8, yongnuo YN460 flash with bag waterproofing underneath, wireless triggers and remotes, and finally the 18 - 55 mm f3.5 - 5.6.

Obviously I wont require all that kit all at the same time but its a good indication on how much the bag will hold. There is also a pouch on the front with a laptop bag for....a laptop along with a pocket / straps on the side for holding a monopod. Quite heavy duty straps as well which spread the weight of the equipment across your back and another strap to clip round your waist.

All in all I'm very happy with the case. One minor drawback is that it doesn't have a nice wee pocket for spare memory cards like in my Lowepro Slingshot 200AW but there are a couple of smallish pockets which these can be chucked into so its ok.

Looks nice. The "it doesn't look like a photo bag" thing always amuses me, especially when they always tend to look like a laptop bag :D

Nice bag :)

me waits until you get another lens and wishes you got mine lol

btw, I've outgrown mine. For the life of me i can't get everything in! The 85L is currently living under my desk.

Its a heavy duty laptop bag for about ten laptops then its 200 mm deep. ;)

I dont mind cos I have two lenses in mind but they would replace the 28 - 105 and I dont need to have the 70 - 300 with the 70 - 200 in there. I think it will do the job for now at least.....until i get a spare 10k for the 400 f2.8 :D

Tip, there is a bag by Thinktank that cost the same (£230) as my Airport International v.2 but it doesn't have wheels. I ordered that by accident when i went for the thinktank, I would suggest you not to get it as it is rather big and when its full like mine, it will kill your back with all your gear.

Thing is Raymond you're built like a whippet, I've got a bit more to me in my frame so i can handle a bit of weight on my back :p ;)
