"Balanced" System?

i was thinking in the future i might want to sell my gpu and go SLI and run 3 monitors, so i thought it would be good to have the 850w

The Motherboard specced can only do Crossfire with the second card limited to 4 x bandwidth, but if your looking a full upgrade then I see where your coming from :)

but if i had just the one MSI Geforce GTX 770 Lightning 2048MB would it be possible to run 3 monitors off it without having to do SLI

If you did decide to go sli, an 850w psu would still be way overkill. My spec in sig pulls 430w at the wall in games. Slightly more when both cards are overclocked to +80 core, +500 memory.

Looking at the specs you can run four:

NVIDIA 3D Vision Surround

Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add in a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.

well then, looks like im sorted, i swapped the 850w PSU for a 650w and i swapped the Gigabyte Z87-HD3 for the Gigabyte Z87X-D3H

What was wrong with these :p

okay look, iv changed the colours of things as i was only going with a theme of yellow because of the gpu, but now i know when the gpu is in the only thing that shows is a blue circle on the bottom. So therefore iv changed what i am going to buy(keep in mind i have already pre ordered a refurbished H100 and that i have to have that psu because of me having a Haswell cpu)

You'd need more VRAM if you were looking to run 2/3/4 monitors from a single card. SLi would be more comfortable or get the 4Gb version.

im not looking to do SLi just yet that will be some time in the future.

That's fine, but if you are looking to run multiple monitors, you'll need more VRAM from your card as it'll struggle. If you have the budget, I'd go for a 3GB 7950/7970 or 4Gb 770.
