Balatro.... Anyone else addicted?

I enjoyed it until I won with three different decks and then I had no desire to go any further. Was enjoyable for about 5 hours though.
 
Similarly - played it non stop initially, but you could basically win everything by building a deck for flushes, and I lost interest after working that out
 
Played it loads on my Ipad on some long haul flights recently. Its a great game but I beat it a few times unlocking some new decks but not played it loads since. I downloaded it from gamepass onto my work laptop last week, thinking it would take over my days but only had one session on it since. Think I'm cured!
 
Early on I watched a video which was ranking the hands and S class was high card, followed by pair... I was like what?

I'd been playing the game quite wrong.

Although not as bad as some, one fella emailed into the ign game scoop podcast saying he'd not been using any jokers...
 
I played it quite a bit on holiday in Spain this Christmas on the Switch. I mean it’s OK to pass some time with but I’m not sure it quite deserves all the praise it gets. 5-10 hours (if that) and I dropped it. Pikmin 4 was way more interesting.

I have no desire to play the Infinity mode.

I know there is a lot of depth to it with all the jokers combination but I found a couple of ones that I like and always end up gravitating towards them instead.

It’s very good for pick up and play and kill 5, 10 or 20mins.
