Basicly Ive noticed that a patch of hair on the right side of my head is thinning. Im not sure whether this is due to stress or whether Im balding either way I wanted your opinions as if I am balding I might aswell start shaving my hair short. Also my hair is not as thin as that on the other side. Just wondering as Im only 19 and thought I would be too young to start going bald tbh.
Heres a photo with the patch circled.

Also forgot to mention that I dont think my hair line at the front is receding and Im not losing any hair on top.

Just dry it with a towel everyday. Not sure if that makes a difference???

I've heard that if you dry your hair too hard with a towel it can affect the hair. To be honest it doesn't look that bad from the photo, in fact can you not comb your hair straight down over it. It looks very wavy anyway. :)

Yeh I can cover it with the hair above but if I was going bald then Id rather confront the problem now rather than hide from it tbh. Whats weird is the hair on the other side of my head is not as thin as that. Also it only seems to be thinning by there and nowhere else, does hair normally recede from there and beyond cos I thought it was from the top or front tbh.

Baldness would start on your crown first, you should see the doctor about that though it seems stress is causing it or something
