Baldness

I have a high hairline, my hair atm is fairly long, but it looks scruffy so it'll be getting shaved this afternoon I think.

Looks much better :)

For some strange reason, other people seem to be more concerned about my hair going than I am.
I'm quite happy just to shave it short. One of my mates nearly always seems to have some stupid comment to make although I'm sure when he was younger that his hair didn't start 8 inches above his eye brows.

I have long hair and I am starting to thin out at the back! Thing is it could be baldness setting in, or it may have been my own fault - I used to have a habit of messing and twisting the hair in the exact spot.

Stopped doing that and hoping my hair comes back. I wear bandanas much more these days while I am waiting :p

That said theres a guy at my gym who is bald in the front and middle, but has long hair past his shoulders at the sides and back, and it looks totally ridiculous.

You go to the gym with Bill Bailey

I have curly, frizzy, grey balding hair that now seems to have a few ginger tints. I'd rather be called baldy or slaphead than sheep head, Screech or any of the other names associated with my crap hair. I would not use any hair products that grew my hair back. Baldness is a godsend.

Im quite sure anyone who is bald, being completely honest with themselves and given the option would rather than their hair back.

you couldn't be more wrong on a lot of people baldness actually looks good, I certainly think so of myself and my brother.

I don't see hair loss as a big deal, actually prefer having less :)

You're all missing the the most important question:

Why are British men having to look like convicts? Britain has the highest incidence of male-pattern baldness in the world. Why is that? What are we being fed that makes this so, because it certainly ain't genetics. This has started in the last thirty years or so.

Damn immigrants!

I hope I don't go bald, but hypothetically speaking, if I did I would like to get my hair back :)

No idea mate, but I blame Kojak

Apparently I'm set to start balding in my late 30s\early 40s. For now, I have plenty of hair.

Yes, I would probably use a baldness cure if it exists.

I'd liek to know why men loose their hair? What natural purpose does it serve? Why do we only loose hair on the head and not the rest of the body? Doesnt seem to make sense really.

Something to do with hormone production or the follicles dying (cell damage over time)? I'm not 100% sure...

Ive had in depth discussions with women on this subject, it dosent look better, if a woman says it does, then she is trying to make you feel better ;)

I'd rather have a full head of hair than be partially bald like I am at the moment but I wouldn't say I hate it enough to do anything about it.

Women don't really care too much anyway once they reach 24+ since 99% of them have something they'd change as well they are more accepting of baldness than men are.

I'd rather have a fat wallet than hair. Although being poor and baldy is a curse :p

are you baldy Inward or do you have a full head of hair? Perhaps they are just lying to make YOU feel better :p

You’re probably right to a degree. I would imagine a guy’s hairstyle is a very small part of attractiveness. I, for example, love really long straight dark hair on a woman, but that doesn’t mean I find all other woman unattractive. My current girlfriend has shortish blonde hair, and I wouldn’t want her any other way.

And yes, if there was a cure for baldness I’d probably use it for the simple reason that I never chose to be bald. Doesn’t mean that I feel ugly being baldy though.
