Seeing as it released officially at midnight last night. And I couldn’t see an OT, here in consoles.

Anyone picking this up ? I’m just finishing up re4r (freaking amazing game) then moving on to this !

I'm too busy grumping over starfield for the moment but I do hear there are or seem to be a number of PS5 specific bugs which are not present on the PC version, even after recent patch updates.

I will get it but I'm really unsure how I'll fare with the change from RTwP to a turn based system; seemingly a primary reason why the game is so long is that action / battle turns can take as many 10s of minutes and that is further compounded with the use of a controller. I'm not sure I can stomach another game on top of starfield where I'm constantly spending so much time clicking through reams of inventories and objects.

Started playing last night.

Created a female githyanki wizard ~ necromancy and a charlatan background.

Enjoying this a lot so far. Runs very well on ps5. Although I’m obv still in act 1

Ah yeah. Totally forgot about that. Will take one later !

How does this game play with a controller? These type of top down of games I have always played on a PC with mouse and keyboard

Game itself looks fantastic, tempted to buy!
Plays well ! Overwhelmed me a bit at first but you get used to all the button configurations.

Edit. Controlling your character in the game world feels great too.

I just read a piece on Eurogamer where he thought it played better on a controller because you actually move around rather than click and move. Sold it to me anyway.

Very interesting, thanks!

I remember actually playing Witcher Thronebreaker, and that was a top down game and that was super fun to play I thought
