Yeah, but that was the same in the first film, you did not know that Kyle was there to save her, you first thought he was a killer as well. Hence the line "Come with me if you want to live"

Style, action, effects, casting, story, soundtrack = all perfect. It didn't have to be significantly different from the first one in terms of story, but if you look at the characters (especially sarah connor), you can see how they have been changed by the realisation of what will occur.

The film is immense in every way, and many film critics regard it as one of the best sequels of all time.

Wouldn't it be best to see how the first movie does then decide whether to do another 2? I suppose even with the name involved they realise the money will be big. Suppose they will all be linked

I'm interested to see how it does, I will admit that. It just doesn't seem promising with McG as the director. But who knows, maybe Bale is enough to save the movie

I agree, it is a great film. SFX had moved on in the seven years in between and the budget was much larger for the second film. It also evoked a different emotion for the "Hero" of the story. I personally think they are both great films and this is possibly the best sequel of all time, yet I still think the first one was better. It might be due to the age I was when it first came out and I saw it at the Cinima. It made a big impression on me. The second one was also "wow" and after seeing Highlander totally ruined by the sequel, I was blown away.
