Ballerina

Watched it, Its pretty decent. But its so obvious De Armas has no experience in fighting, they try to make her look good with camera cuts but even in the half a second she's on screen in the cuts it's still painfully obvious she doesn't move correctly for the punches and kicks she is trying to throw

And the CGI scene where her car gets hit is ridiculous lol

Watched this last night and really enjoyed it. Was better than the last John film.

Loved the plate scene hah

can't help feeling at this point that evewry super-trained assassin they introduce just devalues Wick himself. In the original he was the ultimate and got his nickname for a reason, now it's seeming that he's just one of countless. taking his magic away a bit, i feel.
I agree. Though the film came alive when John Wick entered...

Her gun/fight scene in NTTD was good though, or was it that dress ;)
I enjoyed this, on a less is more basis, I do think this is going to be an entire series of films raking over new ground/emulating John Wick though, kind of like what Jurassic World did to Park...

Better than I thought it would be and some of the fights scenes you can feel the wait of the stunt performers waiting for their cue as it's not as fluid as John Wick, Do wonder if they went with a more 'action' type of actor if the combat would feel better to watch.

Liked the details that as 'good' as she is she never landed a hit on John Wick and atleast we got a short sequence of him showing why he's as good as he is.

Overall it's a 6.5 / 10, few decent moments with a good soundtrack but not as polished as the original films.

That's a completely fair review tbh :)

Agree with this

You'd think Ana De Armas kicking ass would be enough to carry a movie, but it's not really.

I think this had less plot than even the main John Wick movies.

One thing that didn't make sense, and one massive blooper

1) Why did the man with the x scar attack her in the first place? That's how she became aware of the organisation.

2) The land rover towards the end changes from a nice new 2025 model to a much older model, for no reason.

Found it half decent but not as good as the proper John Wick films.

There was a point in it (might be when she is basically running and gunning in the village) where I was sure she unlocked infinite ammo.

Flame thrower bit was cool looking but didn't make too much sense.

Felt it came alive when John entered, liked how they handled that bit and didn't have her over power him somehow.

7/10 for me, won't be in a rush to watch it again but will watch it again at some point.

It's just ideal for a 1 time viewing where you turn your brain off. I can see this being a new series of films though, just like that new Jurassic World :(

Enjoyed this, better than i thought it was going to be!

Grenade scene was ridiculous, but gave me a "holy ****!" moment. Flame throwers, although not practical at all, looked awesome.

Nice to see KR is more than a 5sec cameo and ADA looked fooooine.

Lance Reddick though :(

Cool movie.
