This sort of thing happens time and again in GD. Perhaps a sticky explaining polls, name change requests etc. will invariably backfire...?

I'd like to think the people who post them, and post in them, are simply trying to get or give help - after all, from what I've seen Ebay and Paypal is quite faceless it seems - so others may have hit the problems 'whoever' is asking about.
