Ban for play acting

Never going to be a situation where simulation/feigning injury is retroactively punished as far too many England players would be getting banned week in week out, a lot of the 'media darling' teams would be getting players suspended as well.

I'll be honest with you and I've said this for decades, when British players go down there's normally a reason and it isn't often you see a British player pretending.
Even Jack Grealish goes down a lot and 99% of the time for good reason but he's usually straight back up unless it was pretty bad.
I thought I saw Saka feigning injury and when it was shown from another angle I had to apologise to the TV.

Jack Grealish is quite possibly the worst player in the league for feigning injury and play acting...

He doesn't tend to feign injury, he just goes down easily. He also happily cheats to force contact. The problem is that I think a lot of the time Grealish is fouled. He draws tackles and moves the ball and its often a foul. He then also forces contact like the recent City penalty which 100% should have been disallowed and he should have been carded.

The whole idea of feigning injury is to get cards for the opposition.

Yes, he's absolutely brilliant at knowing exactly where to go and when to kick the ball to get fouled but you never see him jumping up demanding a card for the opposition player, he always seems content with getting the foul.
If he does demand then it's because he's been properly mugged.
Let's face it, when Grealish gets the ball you just expect somebody to foul him and he makes it very easy for them to foul.
Denis Law was also brilliant at it and admitted to it.

If the punishment was severe enough to stop them doing it and it had consequences for the team during the match it would wipe it out.

The acting that's in the game these days is just ridiculous, the screaming and shouting when they are brushed on the arm or leg and collapse to the floor is just pathetic. Every team does it and the game now we are talking minimal contact and a player will sink to the floor like a bag of spuds.

I like the idea of reviews on it after the game, but what would be the most plausible system to implement to use it during live play? Rugby system? Ice hockey system?
