What's a reasonably good bank for buck on Cat5e nowadays? No real need for Cat6, going to run from router in the lounge under the floorboards to back bedroom so I can install my UAP.

Probably by a reel of it so I don't stress.

I notice @bledd you recommending Excel. Looks good but do I really need the best quality?

As long as it's solid core you will be fine. Excel stuff is decent as per your already done research. I've used a lot of JetLan and that is pretty fantastic also.
You really won't need a full reel though, a single run I would imagine will be less than 50m unless you live in a mansion and at that you should have bags to spare.

CCS is my preferred brand, I prefer their modules over Excel (both are excellent)

Do you know what length of cable you need?

Hi chaps. Good point about not needing a reel. I live in a Victorian house, it’s not huge by any stretch and I will have spare out of 50m for sure. Maybe 30-50 just to be safe.
